The Portage Terriers are also on a winning streak coming into this week. They’ve won five straight and are one point up on Steinbach for first in the MJHL Standings but they’ve played three more games than the Pistons. The Terriers are 18th on the CJHL Top 20.

Dauphin is the other team with a lengthy win streak. Like Portage they’ve won five in a row. The Kings continue their season high six game home stand this week.

The Winkler Flyers have lost three straight but the good news for the group is they have points in two of those three losses and sit third in the MJHL coming into action this week. Winkler is an Honourable Mention on the CJHL Top 20 this week.

After a shut out loss to the Dauphin Kings last weekend the Winnipeg Blues rattled off four straight wins and now sit inside the playoff picture. They’ll play two of their next three at home.

The Stampeders’ week started out well with a 6-1 win over Neepawa, but they couldn’t keep the momentum going with losses to the Natives and Portage later on. Now Swan Valley settles in for a road heavy December with six of nine away from home.
