Niklas Gudmundson (FWD/’05) – Winkler Flyers – 2GP | 3G | 4A | 7PTS

The veteran forward scored the game tying goal while adding an assist on the GWG in a comeback win against the Steelers before he added 2 goals and 2 assists in a win over the Kings. Winners of 7 straight in Winkler, Gudmundson now sits in a tie for second in league scoring with 55 points in 35 games.

Braxton Burdeny (G/’05) – Virden Oil Capitals – 2GP | 2W | 1.00GAA | 0.962SV% | 1SO

Burdeny came up big in a pair of wins for the Oil Caps last week, which included a 19-save shutout performance against the Blues and a 31 save outing in a 3-2 decision over the Kings. Burdeny and the Oil Capitals now sit alone in 1st place in the MGEU West Division with 4 games in hand on the Kings entering a new week.

Cooper Kasprick (FWD/’05) – Neepawa Titans – 3GP | 4G | 2A | 6PTS

Kasprick continued to be a driving force for the Titans last week, posting a hat-trick in a win over the Stampeders before helping the Titans earn a split in The Pas where he posted a goal and an assist to close out the road trip with a 2 key points for Neepawa. The Titans sit tied with the Kings for second place in the MGEU West before they return to action on Friday night.
