Week 11, November 27 – December 3, 2023  |  The Manitoba Junior Hockey League Stars of the Week are proudly presented by Original 16.

Elliot Perreault (FWD/’06) – Winnipeg Freeze – 2GP | 4G | 3A | 7PTS

The second-year forward willed his team to a 9-4 win over their rival Blues where he scored 2 goals and 3 assists in an impressive showing. Just a couple nights later, Perreault continued to find the back of the net, scoring a pair in a loss to the Titans. The Freeze captain leads his team in scoring with 10 goals and 10 assists and has helped the Freeze play nearly .500 hockey since the beginning of the MJHL Showcase.

Noel Olsonawski (G/’04) – Selkirk Steelers – 2GP | 2W | 1.00GAA | 0.973SV%

What a performance on the weekend from rookie goaltender, Noel Olsanawski who helped the Steelers pick up back-to-back wins on their northern road swing. Friday in The Pas, Olsonawski turned aside 37/38 shots before stopping 35/36 the following night to help the Steelers over the Stampeders.

Ben Roulette (FWD/’05) – Waywayseecappo Wolverines – 2GP | 4G | 1A | 5PTS

Another second-year forward enjoyed a strong week and helped his team snap a four-game losing skid in the process. Roulette buried a pair of goals and added one assist during a 5-2 win on home ice against the Blues before scoring twice more in a 4-2 road loss to the Terriers to cap off the week. Roulette finds himself in the top 15 of MJHL scoring and sits second on the Wolverines with 10 goals and 14 assists this season.
