Spiller & Harland reach 1000 game milestone

Portage Terriers Head Coach & General Manager, Blake Spiller, along with Assistant Coach, Paul Harland both reached 1000 MJHL Regular Season Games coached on Sunday night in Portage la Prairie.

Blake and Paul took over the reigns of the Terriers in 2006 and haven’t looked back since. Spiller already holds the record for most MJHL championships (eight) and most ANAVET Cups (two), won the MJHL Coach of the Year four times and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Coach of the Year three times.

Spiller is currently 7 wins away from tying the MJHL all-time coaching wins record (670) held by Doug Stokes and 8 wins away from setting the all-time record.
