With 11 goals and 3 assists in his last 7 games, Brennan has given a boost to the Steelers who have won 3 out of their last 4 games after failing to register a win through the first 11 games of the season. Brennan scored a hat-trick in Selkirk’s win over Niverville before he did it again in Neepawa where he scored 3 more including the overtime winner on Saturday night.

Kennett earned 1st star recognition in the Nighthawks 6-4 victory over the Steinbach Pistons last week, adding a goal and an assist before adding a pair of goals and another assist in a 7-5 win over the Blues. After a slow start to the season, the rookie forward from Red Lake Falls, Minnesota has recorded 8 points in his last 7 games to help Niverville to a 4th place position in the MGEU East Division standings.

Boone Mathison (FWD/’02) – Waywayseecappo Wolverines  – 2GP | 3G| 2A | 5PTS

The 20-year-old had a strong performance during a quiet week for the Wolverines that saw the team win a pair of games against MGEU West Division rivals. Mathison recorded a hat-trick in a 6-4 victory over the Stampeders before adding a pair of assists in a 4-1 win over the Blizzard.
