TORONTO, Ont. – The Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) have maintained their No. 1 spot in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings, released Monday for the period ending Nov. 13.

Having still yet to lose in regulation time so far this season in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, Battlefords boasts a solid 18-0-2-1 mark and lead the SJHL in goals scored (106), while also having allowed the fewest against (46).

Another surging side, the Brooks Bandits, the front-runners in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, stay slotted No. 2 in the 118-team CJHL this week.

Having reeled off nine consecutive victories, the defending Centennial Cup champion Bandits top the table in the AJHL with a record of 21-1-1-1.

Sliding up to No. 3 nationally are the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Portage, who will host the 2023 Centennial Cup, are playing .800 hockey to date in the MJHL at 16-4-0-0 and pace the pack there in tallies with 91.

At No. 4, the Toronto Jr. Canadiens are the first Ontario Junior Hockey League club to 20 wins this season and sport overall numbers of 20-3-1-0.

Toronto has also yet to suffer defeat as the away team on the 2022-23 trail at 12-0.

Rounding out the Top 5 in the weekly listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League’s Terrebonne Cobras.

Winners of six in succession, Terrebonne has gone 18-2-0-0 over in the LHJAAQ with their .900 winning percentage leading all squads there in the 13-team loop.
