Pistons blank Oil Caps’ in game one

The Steinbach Pistons opened the scoring in game one of the Turnbull Cup Finals and never looked back as they defeated the Virden Oil Capitals, 4-0 to take a 1-0 series lead on Saturday night in Steinbach.

Early in the third, Noah Szabo would add his second of the night on a point shot that found its way through traffic, giving the Pistons a 4-0 lead. Virden would do their best to push back but Wasik and the Pistons shut the door, taking game one.
