After a strong rookie season in the MJHL as a 16-year old (54GP, 12G-22A, 34PTS), McKay advanced to the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League in 2016-17. McKay is currently enjoying his fourth season in the WHL as a member of the Saskatoon Blades leading the club in scoring.
