MINOT, ND – The Minot State Hockey team is proud to announce the commitment of forward Braden Billaney from the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

“Braden is a dynamic forward who is highly offensive. He is a very gifted in his play making abilities and adds speed up front. He is going to be expected to score right away. His vision all over the ice is probably his greatest strength, where he makes everyone around him better. His skill set will complement our roster and we look forward to having him in our lineup on a nightly basis.”

The Beaver Hockey program has been in existence at Minot State University since 1995. The team competes independently at the ACHA division 1 level and plays its home games at the MAYSA Arena in Minot, N.D. The Beavers are coached by Wade Regier and assisted by Wyatt Waselenchuk. In its twenty-fourth year of existence, the program has been through five head coaches and has two national titles to its name.
