McNeill Roars Loudly in Return | Blizzard lead series 2-1
Keenan McNeill returned to the Blizzard lineup and scored twice helping the home side grab a 4-2 win. After going down 2-0 and 3-1, the Pistons pushed back but the strong structure and quick puck movement by the Blizzard kept Steinbach from gaining a lot of traction. Noah Szabo’s first of the playoffs brought Steinbach to within one but couldn’t find the equalizer as Tomas Anderson put together another strong performance, stopping 34 of 36, along with a Quincy Supprien empty netter that would eventually seal the win. No time to rest for either squad as they’re right back at it on Thursday night. Puck drop 7:00 pm.
