Road Warriors Get The Job Done – Oil Caps Lead Series 2-1
The power play led the way as the Oil Caps picked up a big road win to gain the series lead. Joey Bielik’s first of the postseason proved to be the difference while Lehto also added a marker on the power play. Winkler got a much needed boost from Dalton Andrew early in the third but penalty trouble throughout the final frame kept them from getting any type of momentum or even chances on goal. Eric Reid was steady yet again as he made a calm and effective 21 saves. The road team has won all three games so far in the series. The series heads back to Tundra Oil and Gas Place for Thursday with puck drop at 7:30 pm.
